I had an accident that led to my knee operation about 2years back – this in turn led to various issues like neck and shoulder pains, lower back pains and ofcourse I also needed to gain strength back in my legs. That said  I tried practicing and sticking to yoga by myself. I also always thought that I had good form when it came to yoga poses. But i wasnt making any progress nor was being able to help my back issues – even though i tried various video tutorials/ ashtanga sequences from youtube. Then a friend (Nitasha from @saceeosal) recommended Aparna (@yog.taara) to me – and I have to say that doing Yoga with Aparna has been transformative for me. She gives minute instructions on how to get into the right form for each pose, reminders like shoulders down, things which are difficult to be aware of by ourselves unless someone points them out – and when you make these small tweaks to your pose, the effect is immediate, the difficulty level goes up, as does the effectiveness of the pose – even simplest of poses started having an impact and improved my well being. Also aparna is super flexible, and even caters to day to day concerns, like some day if i feel like working more on my back or anxiety(yes she has yoga for that too) she will make small changes in my poses or get me to do it in such a sequence that the effect will be manifold and ofcourse all my pain goes away after a session with her. She even incorporates time for breath work in the sessions – overall I am really happy that I came across her, since she has helped in improving my life so much…. Thank you Aparna 🤗🙏

I really look forward to Aparna’s classes everyday. Her way of teaching is very unique and gentle. She keeps motivating you in a very gentle way and I see a lot of difference at the beginning of our session and at the end. Her classes helped me at a very difficult time in my life. She helped me get fitter. Her guided meditations are the best you will find. With background music and detailed instructions I always feel she is sitting right in front of me.
